I think I've mentioned that a love for creativity and crafts runs in the family.
My mom, aunt and I drool over each others projects and especially love those rare occasions when we can create together.
Well, that crafty aunt had a fun idea up her sleeve this year.
She's been sending Peach and Tulip packages with the return address marked: Santa's Elf
oh my goodness...you should just see the look on Peach's face when I check the mail and announce that the elf has been back!
First, she checks out the prizes that were left.
Then, she rushes to the window to see if she can see Miss Elf scampering away....
Here are a few of the treats that my girls have been blessed with by this crafty little elf...
matching!
oh, how I love to match them!
I sincerely wish that getting a photo of both of them looking at me and smiling at the same time did not require an act of God.
but apparently it does...so I settled for snapping away at them happily playing on the kitchen floor.
Peach is totally into feeding her sister and did not care one bit that I had just scrubbed the kitchen floor in preparation for Hubby's co-workers coming over for a little Christmas get together.
T minues twenty minutes until company and the floor was a royal disaster.
good thing I have such a sweet helper :)
cute and good with the vacuum - she's gonna' make some lucky guy very happy one day.
Anyway, back to the elf.
Yesterday, we got a package that was reindeer-inspired.
"Rudolph's spares" were a bunch of red M&Ms inside the tin.
However, I didn't get to my camera fast enough.
By the time I was ready to take a pic, Peach already had them in her little hand, happily munching away.
This elf is definitely talented. Must be all that time she spent learning how to create up at the North Pole.
And she's got oodles of more crafty ideas up her sleeve.
I know this because she's been sending me "teaser" emails pictures of the projects she's working on for Christmas gifts for the girls.
I love that she takes the time to bless my craft-lovin' heart.
And that she joins me in the mission of making Christmas magical for my kids.
Thanks, Auntie. See you soon.
