Winter break

well, la te da....christmas break happened a month ago and here i am finally getting my pictures organized.  ah well.  such is life with the littles.

christmas break was a total blast.

i've said it before and i'll say it again:  2 teachers married to each other = brilliance

having the same days off and getting breaks like this where we are all together is seriously priceless.

we got to do things like....ride bikes and play on the beloved swing set on Christmas Eve.

normal MN winter, huh?

hang out with all the fam

get spoiled with MORE than we deserved

play 643075397429867293647 games of memory.

and she legitimately beats us almost every time.

take a few pulls with granny at the casino

sled down the neighbors' hill while they were on vacation...hehe ;)

paint OUR OWN faces at the Children's Museum  fun times.  whoever came up with the idea to let kids' creativity flow by allowing them to do their own face painting, I will NEVER forgive.

and, of course, what vacation, week, day, hour, would be complete without dress up?

oh man...we didn't do anything out of the ordinary or totally spectacular, but just soaking up these little spirits was enough.

and now that the holidays are over, we are also soooooo over the cold...and the snow...and the ice....and the snowpants.....and the boots.....and the gloves that refuse to stay on little fingers.....and the zipping.....and the.....

Lord...would you please hasten the spring?  green grass, warm breezes and a BABY are on our horizon!  we're not getting anxious or anything ;)
