this was the theme verse for March...
posted on my bathroom wall, i read it multiple times a day.
and i tried to live it.
but being joyful when the waiting seems too long is tough.
and staying faithful in prayer is difficult when it seems like the answers just aren't coming....at least not as quickly as I'd like.
but, God didn't say it would be easy...
so, despite the fact that i'm still waiting on some big prayers, March was lovely.
And here's why:
we got to hang out with J's uncle on his birthday.
the girls love him.
Peach squeals when his truck pulls up because she knows that he will sit and watch Tom and Jerry with her, laughing just as often and loud as she does.
Tulip won't sit on my lap for more than 10 seconds before she's wiggling away to crawl here, there and everywhere.
but, every time he's over, she sits on his lap for close to an hour, jabbering and happy to be held. amazing.
i call him the baby whisperer :)
wrangled this cowgirl for a chili feed and silent auction to support the good work that is being done at HIS Haven Ranch
mmmmm - you don't have to ask me twice when there is corn bread involved.
yes, please. sign me up!
we got to be outside and gobbled up every minute of the crisp, fresh spring air!
I stayed up waaaay too late working on the windows and other treasures I found out at my in-law's farm.
It was fun to have the creative outlet, but more than once i woke up and scolded myself for acting like I'm back in college.
maybe its the kids, or the job...but I think I've finally admitted to myself that I'm not 22 any more and I need a lot more sleep than I used to.
at any rate, I'm happy with how the gush of creativity turned out

amelia erhart landed in our yard :)
i know the hat is ridiculous, but it keeps the wind out of her ears.
sometimes fashion trumps function.
but not when you're prone to ear infections....sorry, baby girl :(
had fun "driving" the car
and sharing ice cream.
now, here we stand...
looking into April with big expectations.
Happy Easter!
