photo shoot

I need some new pictures for the walls in my house...

...and I know that the grands are always pumped to get a few new ones in the mail as well.  

The idea blossomed when Peach was napping and Tulip was looking snap-worthy.

We headed out to our yard and let the fun begin...

i know, they all look the same.

but, how could i pick a favorite?

not possible.

Later, with the help of my dear husband, I put my camera to work in an attempt to get a shot of the both of them...

and looking at me.

Let me first say that I have no aspirations to be a photographer.

I think it is a fun hobby, but other than that, all I really want to do is learn enough to take quality pics of my kids.

And when I set out on one of these family photo shoots, the idea is to take a bajillion photos in the hopes that one...just one...will make me feel like my kids belong on the cover of a magazine.  :)

They're not professional grade....but I do think I ended up with a few keepers.

 at the end of the day, I deleted far more than I kept....

but watching my crazy husband jump around like a monkey just to get a smile from my lovies was worth the effort.  :)
