surprise!

we had a blast last weekend surprising my parents for their 30th wedding anniversary

they were shocked when we showed up with meals planned out for the weekend and a whole list of fun activities

i wish i would have taken pictures of the WHOLE weekend, but sometimes its nice to put the camera down and just participate

and that's just what I did.

played cards, wedding trivia, family TABOO, Gophers on TV, Polly Pockets...it was a bundle 'o fun

I didn't want the weekend to go entirely without documentation, however

so, I busted out the Nikon at the pumpkin patch on Saturday morning

80 degrees during the last weekend in September was reason in itself for celebrating!

these two gobble up every opportunity for competition....

and Peach made her papa proud by trying her hand at golf

check out that swing...i'm hoping that with time, her swing starts to look less like mine and more like J's  :)

we topped it all off with a hay ride out to the fields to find the perfect punkin'

success!

although nap time was knockin' at the door, we couldn't leave without getting cozy with the kitties

good times had by all!
