i'm feeling a little guilty that we didn't get more into the celebration of independence day this year.
it was just sooooooooo hot.
so, no parades for us. boo :(
and fireworks? nope.
but, we got a sweet consolation prize...three days with grandma and grandpa :)
we'd been buzzing about our trip for a few weeks
that's how it usually goes.
Peach just cannot contain herself.
and for good reason.
we love hanging out with them....even if it is ten million degrees
when we got there, they had a few surprises for the girls
a mini-trampoline
set up in the garage with a bunch of fans so we could stay out of the sun and semi-comfortable while watching them bounce and tumble and giggle
a jeep
oh my......
and a sweet little pool to cool off in after all the excitement of the first two
the look on peach's face just says it all here......
tulip did not know what to think, but she kept going back for more, so she must have liked her sister's crazy stop and go driving
the most hilarious part was how peach just messed around with the radio while driving, not looking AT ALL where the jeep was headed.
HELLO!??!?!?
and I got a little practice with my zoom lens, which was fun!
goodness sakes! after all that playing, we needed a little rest.
so, back to the pool we went
she's just too cute, is she not?
so, despite the fact that we opted out of parades and fireworks this year, we had a lot of fun
going home.....it never disappoints
So cute Leah! Thanks for sharing. There is nothing more special than watching your own children with their grandparents.
